| I havent seen the full transcript for this latest 'error' by Wigan. IF this transgression meant they spent over the cap and could be seen as deliberately hiding something then it should result in points deduction, but if it didn't then it really isnt that big a deal. We cant make it bigger than it is just because its Wigan. Had it been Wakey or Salford making a small error within the cap nobody would care

The whole system reeks. Said this since October when ratboy committed two dubious fouls in the final and continued to play. Perhaps we wouldn’t have had the guile to win against 12-man Wigan, but still the fact he ended up copping a ban proves he shouldn’t have stayed on the pitch, and we never got to find out either way.
But hey ho. It’s wigan. And it was only wire who lost out to the Shaun Wane fairytale ending. So who cares?
An unrelated gripe, but it shows that it’s fookin epidemic in our game. Untouchable scrotes.

| Now, I'm not thick (though I do blow my cover, sometimes), but I don't understand this.
I assume, like the disciplinary committee on a Tuesday evening, there is a [itariff sheet [/i held by the RFL/SL to "dish out" certain punishments, when salary cap limits have been transgressed.
On this occasion, whether it's fraud on a massive scale, or office errors, Wigan have clearly broken the rules, so they should be punished. Again, I assume, that Wigan's level of transgression was equal to a two point deduction, when viewed against the [itarrif sheet. [/i They were found guilty. Wigan appealed. The deduction was suspended, but the guilt is there. It has to be. Otherwise, Wigan appeal again, to have the charge changed to not guilty-no case to answer, as they don't want their "good name" (stop sing at the back) besmirched.
So. Why have the RFL/SL just tore up their own charge sheet, and let Wigan get away with it, AGAIN? After all. It's not as if they have a clean record, in all things salary cap.
Simple. The RFL/SL are pooh scared of Wigan. Always have been, always wii be.
It's like that old phrase. We are all equal. Only some are more equal than others.

Maybe. We may also be a big enough club to escape the sort of censure that would fall on Wakefield or Cas.

And don't clubs often appeal against the tariff imposed by the RFL? Joel Tomkins did last week and got it downgraded.
That's exactly what Wigan did, successfully citing previous incidents where clubs were not deducted points, just given a fine. It was an[i independent[/i tribunal something that seems to be being overlooked!!
