Harvey Livetts form seemed to deteriorate after the big game he had at Leeds and the subsequent signing of a new contract. Has struggled since the injury and was non existent in the CC Final. Not a game to be trying to rediscover form. AS RD says..needs to re-discover his mojo at pre season

I would go with Livett on the bench also. If Clark was yo get injured, I don’t think Patton would be good enough to plug the gap at 9 anyway, not against this Wigan team on the biggest stage. If we lose Clark, we lose. However an extra body to rotate could make a difference, especially with BMM not looking likely to play big minutes

I'm a big fan Livett...I wouldn't put him anywhere near the 19!
Big fan of Patton, in my opinion only Ratchford rivals him in around spine utility.

Saturdays target man for Wigan is Mr D Clark, perhaps we should ensure that we have adequate cover for him

Wigan will have watched us smash Saints up the middle and Fat head will not stand for his team to be bullied in any form but especially not up the middle. He'll have his pack revved up and flying into us from the get go We need to be tough but smart, make his forwards move left to right. We wont beat Wigan by running straight, we need to be moving the pack and kicking them into a corner.

I'd be kicking on the 3rd or 4th for the first 20 minutes, keep turning them round and forcing them to bring it out then spread the ball about. we can't let them rest for a second.

If we can get Wigan's pack blowing then its job done.
