What's fun about it? If your idea of fun is that the team wear a themed shirt then why not do it several times a season. It'd be fun if players in different positions wore different coloured wigs. should we just just come up with any old idea because it might be fun. The fun in Rugby League should be from the enjoyment of the game and the time spent socialising when friends, family and fellow supporters. Other gimmicks don't add anything to the game.

If Marvel were paying money into Rugby League and the RFL/ISC/Marvel were generating interest off the back of it, I'd understand it.

It might have picked up an award in 2015 but these can be pretty much meaningless if the result isn't more interest or money in the game.

Asgardian13 is right. Whatever the old farts on here think - and I am not a great lover of the shirt - these Marvel films are massive business and if it helps recruit 100 young fans of the future it will pay for itself far more easily than an 1890s-style cotton shirt with no sponsors and a nice collar.
