Shenton, Watkins, Cudjoe, Wardle, Sarginson, Connor,Percival, Sau.

All the above are far better centres. Key requirement for the centre is someone who can put there winger in, Atkins can’t do that .

Not cudjoe, he's dreadful. IMO possibly the most overrated player in superleague history.

He'd do great in a big club.

Lol, let’s see. I rate sarginson, think he is a very creative centre with good hands.

I may have been stretching it with Inu, Webster and Wellham but happy with the original list.

Not bagging Atkins but he genuinely isn’t a top class centre, however last year he finally started to put in consistent effort each game, for me he is a 2nd rower now.

Think this has ran its course now, yes he bombed one, but he’s not the first to do so. Yes he’s not world class, but other than Watkins, Percival, Shenton and Gildart you’d be hard pushed to find someone who is in Super League.

There were many telling errors in the match, the Cooper bullet pass in the first half when we were starting to take control was the biggest for me. If he makes the pass to Brown we had Currie, Goodwin and Lineham in acres of space. Instead we turn it over, struggle to get out of our half on the next set which ends in the midfield bomb where Goodwin gets injured and we fall to bits for 5 minutes.

I think he was already planning what facial contortions, tongue movements and hand gestures he was going to do in celebration.
