I counted at least half a dozen times where the first receiver took the ball completely flat and stood still looking for options. Where are the runners? 95% of the time we look horrifically predictable. The 5% of the time that we actually link up/movery a set structure, we look good. Playing off the cuff is all well and good, but if you have no support, it's useless.

Yeah he could have stood 4 yards back to mitigate. Just experience. No complaints.

I thought we looked at our best today when Julien, Savelio ,Cooper ,Wilde & Philbin were on together.Otherwise too much gifted ball again making life hard in defence.

As for the kick ,maybe a kick to touch would have been a better choice ,but in a s**t or bust situation someone has to make the decision & at least we won't get stuffed at Wembley .

I thought we played well considering the number of players we were missing. I also thought that they were given too much leniency in the ruck by the officials..and of course Tomkins was his usual annoying self. So, as we clearly don't have the side to win at Wembley, we're best out of it such now we can concentrate on far more important things.

Just a point about yesterday's & today's games....Ratchford misses a penalty from half way ,drop out from Wigan under the sticks.Missed penalty in today's game & drop out awarded from 25 line. Did Thaler drop a clanger in yesterday's game ?

Yes. It was brought up on our board. Shouldn't even have been a drop out as our player caught it in field.

Warrington could have and should have won that game. Wigan are a shambles and are punching far above their weight. but currently nothing is going in your favour and it's hard to get out of that rut. Your team gave it everything yet on a different day that could mean beating the likes of castleford.
