I haven't booked anywhere to stay over. Seems to be full everywhere. Does anybody know of anywhere?

Last year we stayed in Whitley Bay, easy to get to the Stadium by metro. There are another couple of seaside towns on that route where I noted fans were getting onto trains so I'd look there.

I'd try calling Premier Inn direct, the Team Valley branch in Gateshead (five mins in a cab) had plenty of unoccupied rooms last year.
