TS said that he was not that bothered about Sandow leaving, but he was about the timing. So the club has had little time to sort out a replacement and we might end up with Kevin Brown. Opinion seems to be divided about his strengths, but at 32 he is only going to be here for another 2 years max, hence we are only looking at a stop gap - which ought to soothe the nerves of anyone worried about the long term prospects of the club, not to mention the prospects for the younger player coming through. If the figure of £100k is correct, then Widnes have got the bargain of the century for a player at the end of his career. Having said that, we can easily afford it after all the money we will have raked in last year.
It's still all speculation at the moment anyway, but is this really a 'big deal' ?
Quote: Uncle Rico "Sorry RD Cas may have improved after we signed Clark it was the often bettering us that I'd dispute and like Hull I don't think that is clear cut'"
They finished above us and got into the play-offs which we didn't
Quote: Psychedelic Casual "Oh indeed. They were only better that very next season'"
I didn't say that it didn't happen it was the "more often" part of RD's theory that I needed to be convinced of and I'm sorry but I haven't spotted a trend
