Quote: Tiz Lad "Why has nobody mentioned the fact that in the knock on before the Atkins no try, that Gelling picks the ball up in a clearly offside position, but Thicks gives nothing.
Fully aware that we could've had a try, but we also could've had a penalty in front of the posts and an 8-2 lead and the ball back not 30 seconds after the no try 6-6'"
Gelling was in front of charnley when charnley touched the ball, but when Gelling actually picked up the ball he'd made it back behind charnley so he wasn't offside, something very similar happened in a game against cas earlier in the season and stuart cunningham explained the rule at length, so i've no problem with that one.
In all honesty I though Hicks had a good game, which isn't something I expected when he was first announced.
