| No different to the general relegation one up one down system that's been in place previously except it's decided on the final day.

| It's as if he's never heard of a thing called promotion and relegation and it's just been invented.
In European sport teams get relegated and players contracts get slashed. It happens in football, and not just in leagues like the Prem where wages are obscene, it happens in the Romanian third division and the like where wages are nothing like the Prem.
It happens in a similar kind of way when some random 200+ seed goes out at Wimbledon and collects very little prize money, most likely seeing him changing the way he lives for the next few months as he's earned such little money.
That's sport for you!

| Cockayne does have a point - to an extent.
But sport is cut throat and probably his contract terms are the same as many others.
I agree that as an individual he is in a weak position to complain about injustices.....

| It's not tiddly wink. If you don't deserve to be in the top division then that's life and you really can't argue that Leigh haven't deserved to get in over either one of them. Plus I'm fairly sure Hull KR would remain full time if they got relegated, less certain about Salford if the doc leaves. We've had promotion and relegation for most of our history, as have most other sports.

| Didn't seem to bother them last year when they were involved in the qualifiers, if they win Saturday will they learn a lesson and try to be good enough to finish outside of the bottom four next year? Time will tell
