If I was Lineham, I'd be treating this as pre season. He isn't going to play, otherwise he'd be in this week, so he should be getting some miles into his legs, losing a bit and spending a lot of time with the kicking coaches learning to deal with kick in behind him. He's got a month before the season ends to get his name back in the good books.

Only he can turn this around, he needs to get his ample backside in gear.

The Lineham situation is a real problem for us. He get's paid none the less and counts on the cap. I cannot see any team wanting to take him on maintaining his current wages. Quite realistically so long as he abides by the terms of his contract he can just wallow picking up his wage.

The rest of RL must be laughing their socks off at the Wire. Asotasi, Dodds, Wheeler ,Lineham, the club appear to want to buy any donkey that comes on the market, anyway some good news,J Tansey is back on the market .

You can hardly put Dodds in that list. it's a freak injury and the one game he did play he was extremely solid

Didn't Dodds come with a long term injury & i seem to remember him playing about 15 minutes at Salford & 5 minutes at Catalans before going off with his latest injury ?

Whether or not we paid any money for Roy, i'm pretty sure we had to pay him a wage for his mediocre performances.

You can't possibly include Dodds in that. most of us saw the injury happen, it was just very unlucky. Wheeler was a hit or miss signing for very little money. He is a talented player and had it paid off we would have been laughing. Lineham is a strange one. His whole persona says, @I don't want to be here,' and I strongly suspect that he won't be next year.
Back to the thread, I really enjoyed last night. not the best quality at times, but what an exciting finish, 2 teams doing their utmost to lose the game. How on earth Wigan didn't hammer Widnes is beyond me.
