| Just adding my two penneth!!
I honestly didn't see too much wrong with the game last night, a couple of blades of grass stopped Evans scoring in the last few minutes and had Hilly managed to stretch out a bit further within the first ten mins then his try would have been awarded. I cant remember who, but there was a kick in goal in the first half that bounced around, landed in one of our players hands but was the spilled.......had he held onto it it was another try. We made good ground and had most of the possession and territory against a fresh, in form, saints side. Not bad given our last game was 5 days earlier and theirs was 13 days earlier.
Yes we spilled balls, and the running was off but we could still have won. I'm also not having this Saints are crap thats being spouted around, they are a form team at the mo who scraped a win against a Warrington side who has barely had chance to breathe since their last game.......
Says more about Saints than us I reckon.

| Saints are getting away with murder in the ruck, the penalty against hill for walmsley falling over was a joke considering some of the muggings Wilkin has done after ending up on the wrong side of the tackle

| Saints played the ref better than us. They knew they could take the pace out of the game, and starve Clark of chances.
Hate to say it but the crowd influenced it too. The Walmsely dive was terrible, but the crowd won them a penalty. At the other end, that wouldn't have been given.
We need to wise up. Sometimes the successful teams aren't the best at playing rugby, but the best at playing the game (conditions, ref, tempo etc)

In spite of that Chris Hill needs to smarten up his tackling technique as he is consistently being penalised - and presumably is now one that the referees look out for.

| Just reading TS comments in league express regarding why Lineham and Penny are not playing, he says it's down to form. Ok fair enough but here is were I get confused as he says Evans, Russell and T. King are playing well. Well I'm not one for questioning what TS does but did he actually watch the game on Thursday what did he see that King done well, I'm confused.

The use of the word "form" can cover a multitude of things why air your dirty washing in public if there is any of course? Also a non confrontational reason in the press gives everyone a chance to sort themselves out, no burning bridges, no being frog marched out of the club and if that is the result not frog marched out for a desperation fee?
