Makes me smile all this about hard core fans vs the occasional fan. I was at the 6th round at Oldham, maybe we should just limit the tickets to those who went to that game - think we took about 2,000. Those 28,000 empty plastic seats at Wembley will look good. Anyone who wants to go will be able to get a ticket.

Really don't care what fans attend as long as they behave themselves and fill the stadium. Wembley really must do something about the ring of indiference. It spoils the whole atmosphere. Just imagine if the seats were sold at reasonable prices to fans....

The clubs needs as many 'bandwagoners' as they can get. It's all revenue and helps the support on the day of the match. They'll probably buy some official merchandise and a small portion of them may be convertable into regular fans. Can't be a bad thing, and it's not as if any 'loyal supporter' will be deprived of a Wembley or Grand Final ticket by a bandwagoner stepping in.

Because of where I live now I get to see about 10-12 games a season. I was at Leigh on Saturday, despite some very difficult circumstances, and I'll be at Wembley too. Does that make me a Bandwagoner?
Rang the RFL today for tickets and got through after only 2-3 minutes. Apparently we're now up to 74,000. |
