This Good Friday Widnes Vikings face Warrington Wolves at the Halliwell Jones Stadium in the 7th round of the First Utility Super League. The first game of a huge Easter weekend double header for the Vikings.
Denis Betts will be without Captain Kevin Brown, centre Charly Runciman and forward Hep Cahill after pulling up in training with minor injuries. All three players will be assessed over the weekend to determine their availability for the Easter Monday clash with St Helens at the Select Security Stadium.
Patrick Ah Van makes a return whilst Sam Brookes and Ed Chamberlain appear in the 19 man squad for the first time this season.

| Ive just looked again at the handicap its now +14 to Widnes them missing Brown as pushed it out by 2 im guessing.

| I am genuinely gutted that Brown isn't playing. Was hoping to see 2 more or less full strength teams in a top of the table clash. No arrogance, just wanted a proper measure of where we are. Can't help feeling Betts feels Saints on Monday are a more certain 2 points.

| Oh and saw Brown on SLS2, thought he came across really well. I wonder whether that Wigan poster included him in the list of Wigan rejects? Bet they'd give their eye teeth for him right now.
