As a Leeds fan I'll always have a slightly odd liking for Bailey but he is 5 years past his best form now. Add that to the need for you guys to show last year was a one off and this looks like a horrible move for everyone.

Surely he is more suited to Dr Marwans band of overpaid misfit has-beens?

Hopefully by the time he leaves by mutual consent Mitchell Dodds will be back from injury

Never been one of my favourite players but plenty of opposition fans have said that about many of our players, he's been signed for his defensive qualities he's steady and as has been said he attracts a lot of the oppositions attention, if he's in the right frame of mind and only time will tell he will stiffen our pack and help divert attention away from Hill and others, he's already started by doing what it says on his tin and winding people up.

Please, let's hope he has the same career with us.

I cannot ever remember being so underwhelmed by signing. I could never understand how this vey average player ever got into such a great Leeds side.

This just looks like a desperate signing, as there is nobody else available and really puts a big question mark over the clubs ambitions.

I think you need to look at the signings as a whole, rather than pick out individuals. Sandow, Lineham, Westerman & Hughes should all be very good signings for us. Dodds comes with a bit of an injury cloud over him but has had a good year for Brisbane. Gidley will only be here for a year or two but should provide us with some good direction, experienace and work ethic. Cox & Bailey are without doubt a bit of a leap of faith, but the squad is far stronger than last year IMO.
