Quote: Laughing Gravy "I have mithered in the past to have a shirt similiar the classic Brian Bevan look, white with primrose/blue bands. Having now seen Leeds new shirts can't believe we haven't gone down that road if just for a change. When I hear talk of "the brand" I think of those shirts and "the Wire" maybe I'm just a grumpy old man now (57) but we haven't honoured our past as much as I feel we should, though the wall under the South stand is fabulous'"
Again this is something that crops up from time to time in terms of WHAT IS a classic warrington shirt, and does change from period to period, correct me if i'm wrong but is the one you're referring to the white shirt, with the thick blue band across the middle, and the yellow stripes above and below?
If so, we last attempted somethign similar during the custard splodge centenary shirt in 95, would that be a big seller? i don't know. Likewise a couple of people have mentioned the all blue shirts with just the W on the left breast. Again, i don't know if that would be considered a seller in todays climate.
