I find it staggering that people aren't picking Jermaine McGillvary!

Maybe, but i don't agree with shoe horning him in a half back spot, where he's not played for umpteen years, just because he's not been good enough to get in at fullback, where hardaker when he's not slapping students has been bloody good.

Widdop deserves to keep hold of his shirt, and Gale deserves a chance to run alongside him.

McGillvary has been the form winger this season with others in and out of form or injured, deserves a place.

I'd have him in the side along with Cudjoe and Luke Gale but we all know McNamara likes to compose his side from Leeds, Wigan and the NRL. Players from 'unfashionable' clubs generally get overlooked, however good their form has been.

Cudjoe over Reed? Interesting.

When I've watched NRL this year (which I admit isn't a huge amount) I've haven't seen much about Reed to get that excited about. Cudjoe is a solid defender and makes a very good partnership with McGillvary. I think they've done enough in our league to deserve consideration..... which probably means neither will get selected

People omitting Josh Hodgson at hooker is a scandal. ..One of the standout hookers in the nrl and has an all round better game than Roby.

The best thing Roby has done this year is to get into the dream team. ....Unfortunately Hodgson's form will mean no place for Darryl Clark.

I get the impression that Roby will be in for shoulder surgery on Monday morning. Every game I have seen him play he has been having problems with his left arm. I am surprised that nobody has picked Whitehead in the second row.
In a selfish way I hope that no wire players get anywhere near the squad. Hill has played too many games and Ratch and Clarke look like they need a decent off season. I heard Phil Clarke mention that we have been suffering from unexplained underperfomance syndrome which I thought was a crock but when you actually look into it it sort of makes sense. I think we need to get the aussies back early and get all the players back at training together early. Last year our full squad probably did not train together until mid Jan due to internationals and woody did a runner to add more problems.
Give all the caps to Leeds, Wigan and saints and let them have the pre season disturbance. I think this could have a big impact on Leeds next season.
