I have been an avid reader of posts on this forum for a number of years but now I've got to the point of it being unbearable. The negativity has gone to an all time low along with the same posters constantly coming out with the same old predictable negative comments like an old broken record. We now seem to have supporters who think it's Warrintons divine right to win every game and when we lose somebody has to take the brunt of critism. Please see below some of things that currently drive me mad(in no particular order).
People who blame Agar after every loss. If you believe what some people say are the players really that childish and unprofessional that they won't play well because they don't like him? If a player under performs they blame his passing or tackling etc. What evidence have people given about Agar other than spouting off it's his fault?
Waiting for the next new player to come in for a barrage of critism. How long before the doom mongers say Chris Sandow is crap, Gidley is here for a final pay check or Lineham can't defend for toffy?
A perfectly good post which descends into a 2 way personal spat between 2 posters. Nobody is interested in these childish arguments and are an instant turn off. The people who trawl through every previous post and comment to prove a point are also very sad.
People who hang on every word of Phil Clarke waiting for him to say something remotely bias towards Wigan then have a total hissy fit when he does. Do the same people go in a rage when Cullen says something favourable about Warrington? Get over yourself you sad bunch.
The same players being made a scapegoat week in week out. It's not the fault of some of these players if they're not better than players at other clubs. We just have to accept this and perhaps give them some moral support to build their confidence and make them better? If the players read this forum it is no surprise that they are low on confidence.
We all love how rugby league is a friendly sport and we brag to football fans how two sets of opposing fans will have a craic in the pub before and after the game. We chat about all things rugby league with opposing fans and yet as soon as an opposing fan offers a constructive comment or wants to join in a discussion on this forum they are treated like some kind of scum and we hear the same old cry babies shouting 'troll'. Some people need to grow up.
The Tony Smith haters. You have to realise that making grand finals and competing with the top teams is successful not to mention we have actually won silverware with Tony Smith at the elm. Leeds look awesome this year yet we have beaten them convincingly twice. Keep the faith - with a bit of better luck with injuries and some fresh faces around the place next year he could once again could become ' Sir Tony'.
Finally, the fact that I'm now preparing to be shot down and put in my place for posting something that may critisise a posters posting habits. I am at least expecting the predictable smilie that is crying his eyes out.
Is there anybody else out there who has lost a bit of faith in this forum? Would love to hear what also drives you despair reading these posts.
