| Thinking back to the optimism at the start of the season ,MoS coming in ,a big Aussie forward ,building what looked on paper as a better ,stronger team ,how have we ended look looking weaker and have ,frankly . gone backwards ? How have we become a team of losers , with a lack of leadership

| I think, for some of the players, the hunger has gone. Whether that is because they have a few medals to their name to polish and show the kids, whether it's because their skills are on the wane or gone compeltely, whether they are dissillusioned with the team, have been here too long or whatever but yesterday we looked apahetic, arrogant and workshy. We can all cope with being beaten by superior skills, the bounce of a ball, but that clearly wasn't the case yesterday. We lacked desire, composure, common-sense and nous and we had enough experience on the pitch to manage the occasion, conditions and opposition and failed abjectedly on all three counts.
However, I think we need to remove our heads from our nether regions. Player for player, there aren't many players in the current Wires squad who, with the exception of Wakefield possibly, other teams (SL or top-Championship regardless) would want on-board. I'm not talking about players based on yesterday but on longetivity, potential and form over the last 2 years.
Hill? Undoubtedly? Myler is obviously still considered a top line half-back, though I beg to differ despite an excellent performance yesterday. Ratchford, based on raw skills, yes. Clark, based on reputation maybe. Ben Currie, based on potential yes. Now I'm struggling.

| Correct. I look at the line ups most week and expect us to get a pasting. We're not that good on paper and it shows on grass.

| To be fair when any top side is playing a team with nothing else to play for and everything to gain,(forget middle 8's HKR will stroke that) it makes it easy to be out enthused, you just need to deal with it better and play smart. Leeds failed to do this in 05 final against hull and Huddersfield in semi in 06. Warrington failed to deal with it yesterday and game management was very poor.

| I think that last year we forgave a lot because the line was fed to us that Briers had had to retire due to injury which left us short in the playmaking department, despite the fact that everyone could see the writing on the wall for Lee in the 2013 season. This season it is evident to all that there has been a definite lack of effort to resolve the half back problem until now when the season is all but lost. A lot of blame has to fall at the door of the management.....Tony Smith was happy for his team to coast along secure in the knowledge that Lee would pull something out of the bag to win games. What he failed to do was plan for a future without Briers so now we are left with halfbacks whose kicking game is just as likely to benefit the opposition as our own team.
