This is absolutely ridiculous there was nothing in it. There are far worse things going on in the game and like someone else posted there is no consistency. Bennie got his one match ban for the neck pressure tackle seen 3/4 since nothing done by the RFL. McChloride takes Travis Burns off the ball and kicks Wilkin in the head in the Saints game nothing done about it. How does that work

This is not Wire bias I think England was lucky to get 4 matches what he did was disgraceful whatever led him to do it. You just want perspective in the decisions and consistency.

Silverwood has said on Twitter, probably trying to deflect, saying it's the MRP that decides on incidents in games and whether to charge them. So what he's trying to say is that he had no input into this issue, which I find rather laughable considering the look he gave Currie when he did it and then the fact that the Fat Karate Kid went over to him and said "he pushed you".

You do realise that Silverwood does have cards in his pocket and could've shown him a yellow if he wanted to if it bothered him that much or turn the Leigh scrum into a Leigh penalty for dissent.

Moaning at the ref isn't a grade C offence, delibrate contact with one is. Might not have been the biggest push in the world but it's one of the first rules of RL/sport that every player knows, you don't touch the ref, simple as really.

Because Silverwood is one of the best refs, and didn't over-react and spoil the game for the fans by sending him off, when it was in a category that it could reasonably be dealt with afterwards, as it was. Admirable work ref.

I'd have loved to be a fly on the wall when Currie was being bollocked by the powers-that-be at Wire, prior to taking his EGP. What a prat. I hope they've fined him a few weeks wages too on the q.t.
