Bless her. Evelyn was a really lovely lady and was part of the fabric and spirit of the club throughout the good times and bad.
On another thread we discussed loyalty - well she was loyalty personified, and great fun in to the bargain.
I remember the players coming off the pitch at the Willows, and Mike Greg crossing over to Evelyn and getting (and giving) a huge kiss. Sir Mike will have been waiting patiently in heaven for her arrival and another.

I remember many years ago, as a kid, buying my first Wire top when Vladivar were the sponsors, from the Wire market stall and I remember Evelyn really well. She's a true Wire and always so positive about our side-good form or bad. Amongst many great players who have served our club, Evelyn is right up there and more. RIP Evelyn x
