Over the last few years Wire have had the luxury of a good amount of experience in the team but over the last couple of seasons that has disappeared & not been replaced for whatever reason. Unfortunately, what we are left with is a gang of young players coming through, with ability, who need to be coached into becoming great players & this is where the coaching staff need to step up to the mark & earn their corn.
This is not just our club that will be affected though & all because of the ridiculous under 19s/straight to superleague idea. Maybe a solution for us would be to take a leaf out of rugby union's book & bring in experienced older players to sort out the various sections of the team,to show the younger lads how to deal with situations on game day.
