| With the signing of Lineman, what now for Penny?. He is box office ,the only player bar Ratch that has any pace. Matty Russell is another 'conundrum'. Penny and Lineman on the wings looks good ,pace and power, and ability to put bums on seats.
I think Penny would go down a storm in NRL.Real shame a son of Howley is not rated by "Agar the Horrible" and St Tony.

| He originally signed for 12 months for 2014 with a 1 year option, that was taken up, for 2015.
Don't think there's been another contract extension ?

| I guess it comes down to how many wingers can you afford to keep in a salary capped squad?
For 2016 we have Lineham, Monas (until told otherwise) Evans, Ormsby, Penny & Russell vying for two spots, with presumably more players ready to move up from the U19's in a year or so. Thats 6 wingers (5 if Monas departs / moves to centre) which seems one too many for me in a squad of 25.
It comes down to how you rank the current wingers we have. Personally Ormsby has moved in front of Penny at present, although they've run eachother close all year. Evans along with Monas & Lineham are the standouts and I liked the look of the potential of Russell on the wing. Scored some decent tries, has pace and crucially would give us back the metres & that quick play the ball on our ball returns which was his trademark from full back.
Every one can recall some pretty amazing tries/plays from the guy, its how regularly those performances/tries occur that is the important thing, the other players for me are more consistently better, its just that moment of magic that he can bring.

| It depends on who the coach favours really, penny could have scored the tries Ormsby has this year if he was playing. Ormsby is more solid though with a better impact so I can see why he is favoured, I'm a bit biased as I love penny I thinks he's awesome and deserves game time. But Ormsby is doing everything right so happy days.

| If he stays injury free I would go with Evans and Lineham can't see Joel playing wing next season as stated earlier too many players for two positions, got to agree with RD and ninearches we need to bring back the A team without hesitation.
