A few weeks ago my sister had a surprise visit by John Wilkin at The Village hotel and he said that we've signed him for next season.

How true It is I don't know.

Jon Wilkin will never sign for any other club than Saints.

Be delighted if the Wilkin signing is true, we've been crying out for a half of his calibre.

I would sign Kevin Brown.

I think he was talking about Eastmond, not Wilkin.

Like a shot. I'd spend whatever it takes to get Brown here, absolute class.

As for RDs Allan Langer ................ undoubtedly a class act, world class and my memory of him is somewhat clouded by the fact that the squad he was part of never lived upto it's ability due to the drinking culture in the club. But yeah Alfie as well.
