Ratchford has the frame to play loose forward. But by switching him there you'll be diminishing arguably his best asset - his footwork.
To be honest, I don't see the problem here. If Ratchford's failing I'd say it's because the players around him aren't up to getting the best out of him.
If he were playing full-back at Saints, Leeds or Wigan I don't think anyone would consider moving him for a second.
