| Maybe Lineham is just trying to get himself a new and improved deal? It would seem a strange move from Hull FC to sell one of their better players to a rival when they aren't in need of money. How would they go about selling season tickets if that happened?

| Quote Father Ted="Father Ted"If Lineham has signed for you then Hull FC need to have a good look at themselves.
Two years ago Tom Lineham and Ben Crooks were outstanding and some of the best young talent in SL
From what your saying both will have left Hull FC by next year.
Could be a very good signing for you given he gets first class coaching.'"
How's Ben Crooks getting on in Aus?

| Without the direction we need from 6,7 and 9 it makes no difference who's out wide. Not really interested whether we are signing Lineham or not personally. Good player but not what we need.

So who would you play on the wing next year when Joel is at Catalans?

Rhys Evans, Gene, KP, Matt Russell, Jack Johnston all could do the job out wide. Not a position we need to recruit for imo.

| We always seem to have had great finishers on the right wing in recent years - Joel, Hicks, Fa'afili, Smyth.

I was thinking about this the other day. The first 3 in particualr have unbelieveable records. Between them its something like 270+ tries in around 300 games.

| I know Smyth didn't have the same record, but he WAS a good finisher.
Here's a random team from back then -
Alan Hunte
Rob Smyth
Toa Kohe-Love
David Kidwell
Lee Penny
Tawera Nikau
Allan Langer
Jerome Guisset
Jon Clarke
Danny Nutley
Steve McCurrie
Gary Mercer
Dean Busby
David Alstead
Ian Sibbit
Paul Wood
Martin Masella
