| It's Chris Riley i feel sorry for.2012 he was scoring at Wembley for his hometown club, then made scapegoat by Smith, now the poor lad is getting hammered every week at a club where I suspect he'd rather not be. He must have run over a black cat somewhere, never mind a Wildcat.

| Can't wait for them to get relegated. Brought nothing to Super League over the last 10 years or so. Get them down, and get either Leigh, Bradford and Halifax up.

| Wakefield are on death's door as a club. The stadium failure and the failure to deliver solid financing has left the coach with nothing. They have some really exciting backs there, but their pack is woeful. I think they would be lower mid-table in the Championship at present.
I really can't see a future for them, or Salford currently. Both of those clubs are going to disappear soon.

| I don't know what the state of Wakey's finances are, although I heard about their recent problems with the new stadium. But ultimately it will be the supporters that will suffer if the club does get relegated or even fold. We are lucky in that we have a strong sponsor and good finances, otherwise we could easily be in their position.
If the club does get relegated though I hope Leigh come up. Not only do they have a decent stadium to showcase the sport, but hopefully they will attract local youngsters into their ranks and stop Wigan getting the pick of the area.

| If it was not for Wakefield we would have had no Atkins, Wood, Westwood or Solomona to name but a few.

Why is it that whenever a player is left out of the side, or sold, Tony Smith is accused of "making them a scapegoat"? What he's actually doing is using his vast experience as a top-level coach and deciding that the player in question isn't performing well enough. In other words, Smith is simply doing his job. You and I may not agree with his decisions at times, but so what? We're fans, he's the head coach.

| Chris had the option to stay but wanted to play regular footie.
He'd fallen down the pecking order behind Ormsby, That decision was TS's - I think based on his belief that Ormsby could run the ball back better (mainly because of his size).
That's RL.
Doesn't mean TS doesn't rate him, but just he doesn't fit into how he thinks the game isbeing / should be played.

| I couldn't understand for the life of me, Riley's decision to go to Wakey. With respect to them, they're always going to struggle.
Now I'm not suggesting that he's going to usurp Hall, Charnley etc, but he's far too good for a relegation (near) certainty.
Very strange
