looking at today's close win against Widnes and on the back of last weeks mammoth effort to defeat the Rhinos yet again for the second time

I would question as to whether there is a pattern emerging that when you guys have to raise your game massively to play a top side and defeat them that you exert that much into the game that the side suffers afterwards?

After you defeated the Rhinos in round 5 at home you then went onto lose to Saints,Giants,Widnes and the Tigers before ending your slump against the Wildcats

I think the lads can take more credit than is being given, they plugged away and got the win, deserved was questionable, but local derby a win is a win,, and sometimes the dirtier the better, that will take some getting back from, Westwood was the pick great performance cracking tackles and ran hard, followed by Harrison, hill, ratch, England , monas, Simms rest seemed to be going through the motions at times,
I was concerned about not backing up our tries with kicking the extras, was it 5? Today, 10 points, thrown away, need to tidy it up, or it produces tight games like today,,

Well said Prop, hope Mrs Harrison doesn't pick the MOM every week. Great to see Benny H getting more game time and I really hope he has a good injury run because he is a terrific player with a kicking game that I didn't know was in his armory. Super Benny Westwood MOM by a country mile.

Hope for Roy's sake he is not on a play-by-the minute contract, although to be fair I thought he did ok today. Did he get injured or something?

I listened to the game over't'internet at 10 o'clock last night in Oz.Listening to Wire fm ,our main problems seemed to be the usual forced passing & handling mistakes ,especially in the first half, & the swirling blustery wind disrupting the goal kicking.We do seem to be turning a corner though & playing like a team again. On the other hand Widnes came fired up to do a job & we didn't let them.Denis Betts has an experienced,improving & workmanlike squad which could well cause problems in both competitions as the season wears on.
Bit confused about Roy,15 minutes even though he sounded to be doing some good stuff when he was out there. Maybe TS thinks his other forwards are more in need of game time.

Surprised there hasn't been much about Thalers performance, he has got to be the worst ref in SL, absolute toilet!!!
