Most embarrassing was the Hull kr quarter final, Cullen should have walked after that. Weather wise, I agree with the monkeyman, that was one horrendous day. Also, the play off game v wigan last year was pretty painful as i'm convinced we'd have spanked saints in the final.
Station Road Challenge Cup semi final 1963 v Wakefield Trinity we lost 5-2 But should have won,Pickavance broke clear late on and with just the full back to beat and a 2 man overlap he had a brain explosion and decided to kick ,it went straight over the deadball line,many said it was was Greenough shouting "Pick Pick" for the ball that caused it but who knows.I still have never forgotten how gutted I was
