| Christ, I wouldn't have liked to have seen this thread if we were beaten by 30+ never took our chances in the 1st half, kicking game was poor and the pace at the play the ball didn't seem to be there like last week. We have some very winnable games coming up now so hopefully we can go on a good run and we will still be there or there abouts at the top at the end of the season. Saints with a full team are the team to beat though

| We look like a side that will probably end the season in 7th/8th place and lets face it, if we keep conceding 30 points+ in matches then we will lose more games than we win. Our defence reminds me of the late Cullen/early Lowes era.
Hopefully the youngsters we keep developing and get plenty of game time as I can see us reaping the benefit of this in a few seasons time. Could do with spending some money next year though on some real quality to ensure we are competitive though. A decent Halve to play next to Patton would help his development immeasurably and take some pressure off him. He looks like he could be class for us.

| didnt watch the game live, but for about 50 minutes we looked slightly better in terms of attack, the set up for the currie try is what has been missing all season (good work from both myler and patton).
i almost posted on here earlier this week i was concerned that king and patton would be defending against Gelling(wasn't sure which side tomkins was playing at the moment) he's not a cultured player at all, he's just really really awkward, which is enough, he's very similar to david krause who used to play for london ages ago that was all elbows and knees and just awkward to try and get your hands around.
Interesting to see that Wigan have worked out the best way to use him.
We're still defending far too narrow and poorly, the first couple of trys, proper sucker punch but we were all bunched up in the bloody middle, its not working at all.

| This is a bit like the 2009 side, bags of talent, no end product.

Let's hope the rest of this season and the ensuing seasons after play out the same way then!
