Just before Christmas I was working with somebody in one of the research departments at Manchester Uni. They were telling me that inhaling fine droplets of water into the lungs can make an individual more prone to pneumonia and other similar ailments. Their guess.....another 10-15 years before they know if vaping is "safe". OK, its almost certainly safeR than tobacco smoking but the jury is still out on whether promoting "safe forms of smoking" will affect they young. To put this into context, an ecig retailer near my work place has a constant flow of 17-20 years old from the local college buying product there.
I witnessed a steward informing a fan that he couldn`t use the E Cig that he was inhaling on the South Stand terrace yesterday.
Apparently there are designated areas for those who wish to use E Cigs.........Hence this is good news for all those who stated that they didn`t want to stand/sit adjacent to some one vaping.
