No doubt all the so called "in the know" posters will tell us it was all arranged then a big change of plan.

Before it was on the boards it was mentioned elsewhere.
At least 3 of us on here heard about it before it was posted.

The same thing about GOB going to Bradford.
He was gone and then back again before the trades got to print about it.

No smoking gun?...There was, and I was told who the smoking gun was, he is very close to Myler.

The rumour was second hand but it was BEFORE it got posted on these boards.

....and before them, there's the tribe Ultras Wiganarus, led by their general Rogueus Gallarearus, and his infamous kangaroo courts, where rugby players are tried and all evidence is ignored, in order to get the verdict he wants.

Unfortunately your wrong on this because I actually sat on the fence on the Myler to KR rumour because it was 2nd hand. I didn't get involved in the debate.

But like FMC I'm inclined to speak about it now because it wasn't an initial forum rumour as Gatcliffe would try and have you believe.
It was out there before the boards got a grip whether it was just a rumour or not.

I think there was something in it because of where the rumour had allegedly originated and his closeness to Myler.
But what adds weight is how Gatcliffe specifically worded his statement in the Guardian. Very economical with the truth...

"There is no interest from us in letting Richie Myler go."
....
That could mean two things: there is no interest NOW but there might have been before this press release!
Or
Strictly we have no interest in letting him go.

Of course it is, as was Sim, Clark and Wheeler. There all rumours until confirmed by the club.

He wording is specifically one directional, not ruling out there was contact about it, only to rule out that we didn't contact Hull KR about it!


Okay, it's like a conspiracy theory, I don't deny, but the wording does look carefully chosen.
Would it be a lie if he simply said, 'it's absolute rubbish, there has been no contact or discussion whatsoever'

Neither have the club denied that we are swapping him for Hock......
