Quote rubber duckie="rubber duckie"The best Wire have played all season, was strangely when we were thread bare in the forwards yet through adversity 7 games of total domination of all comers and Myler was nowhere near the team!
6&7...R&B.'"
I can't be bothered checking the fixture list, but, what was the quality of these "all comers"? From my recollection, we had a tough start fixture-wise and our form was dodgy. Bradford away was perhaps the most disappointing game I've been to in a considerable time and a low point for this squad. This was followed by run of games, but, did we play anyone of any real merit during this time of "total domination"?
You can only beat what's in front of you and your R&B argument is valid in that it got us back on track, but, I don't think the times were as difficult as you are making out.
I would like Myler to stay and agree with others who think he's a scapegoat because of the fee and expectation. There's a dearth of HB quality generally in the game and an injury-free season will do him the world of good.
