| Agree with that thought he made a difference when on pitch last night.

| Lets not lie, he's had a very forgettable season, for the vast majority he's been a passenger.
Last night he played well and it would remiss of we to slate that.
I've been really thinking about his comments and I think I've finally figured out his comments about learning to play a new game.
He knows we play an offloading, passing game and I think, may be wrong, he feels pressured to be part of this, to a point in which he passes it because he thinks that's what we all do.
He throws some right hospital passes, I think he hasn't 'got it' it's not sunk in that yes we do pass it but it isn't a necessity, we don't want everyone playing like a halfback.
He's looked very basic last few games and by that I mean as a forward he's just received it and driven forward, looked for yards and not a pass or even an offload, as a prop I can accept that, that drive he took in last night and skittled players out the way...YES ROY DO THAT, if that's all he does and never offloads it ever again then I'd offer him another year on top of his current contract.
All I want is effort and desire and last night you had that in buckets.

| What he did better than anyone else Yed was to get up off the floor quicker for ptb. 1.5-2 seconds and he was up.

| As a few have said he's upped his game in these last few weeks, and let's hope if he's here next year (and I expect he will be) that he performs as a basic forward and skittles more of the opposition in the same manner.
I'll have to watch the game agains to see how good his performance really was or whether it was just 'good'. Still a quota spot though....
Sims coming in (6'4'' and 17 stone) and Trent leaving (6'4'' and 16.5 stone). Really hope shows his mongrel side - along with Ben W. We need it.

| I Roy did really well last night. At a guess I reckon he was our highest average metre maker in the forwards. If he can continue his upturn in form we'll have a really strong front row and interchange next season.

| As stated previously in this thread, credit where credit is due, he had arguably his best game last night and played well. That was pretty much the Asotasi we thought we had signed in the first place. Yes there is that difficult to quantify 'settling in' period when you travel half way round the world to ply your trade in a new environment but let's not forget he has been carried by the team all season and has now 'turned up' when in sniffing distance of a Grand Final.
If last nights performance is s sign of what we can expect to see week in week out next year then I can live with that, otherwise I still maintain that we get rid.
