Now the dust has settled and we can look at the season in perspective, who would be your top 5 and why?
Mine

1. Chris Hill - nomination for mos, every game superbly consistent and has a real winning mentality. Visibly upset last night but hopefully can guarantee stronger support in front row next year.
2. Joel Monaghan- 30+ tries, should have been in dream team. Not only has he continued his prolific try scoring but he has clearly taken a lead role this year and I would not be surprised to see him captain next year. looks like his best mate Campesse is on his way to HKR. We are lucky to have him!
3. Micky Higham - like a fine wine getting better every year, has brought us back in many games this year, great team player.
4. Micky Monas - all been said thank you! Think he may apply to be referees consultant next year!
5. Chris Bridge - had a lot of doubters early on but thought was instrumental at stand off during our 10 game winning run. Powerful , pity about injuries. Would a move to lock be the right move?

Can't argue with that, maybe in a different order.

1. Chris Hill - carried us at times, only his 3rd super league season and he is invaluable to us.
2. Joel Monaghan - try scoring record and ability speaks for it self, very reliable, really came on as a leader this year too.
3. Chris Bridge - seemed to mature as a player and really stepped up mid way through the season when we were struggling. Performed well when moved back to centre too.

They are the three main stand outs for me. Two mentions from me though go to

James Laithewaite - hadn't rated him before this season but he's really come on and not looked out of place. Also his defence stands out. I think it was the huddersfield game and he was just throwing himself in front of players. Can see him taking trents spot next season.

Gareth O'brien - finally got a run of games together in the back end of the year and has impressed me. Best kicking game we have, quite a clever player, has really outshone Myler who is supposed to be the senior halfback. Hopefully he continues to kick on next season.

I'd have to put Matty Russell in the 5, wasn't too sure how we'd replace Brett Hodgson, but with him (& Ratchford) we seem well covered at full back.
