Guess it depends on where SKY decide to bung Championship games next year

Went to the game on Saturday, but can't go this Thursday due to work commitments, this is what I am on about.

Didn't sky announce a new improved contract with the RFL that means they will be showing more games from next season ? It will soon be a 7 day sport if sky get their way.

Likewise, I get the train up from London on Friday evenings after work each week and can just about make Friday night home games (or away games if they're against Widnes, Saints, Wigan or Salford) but Thursdays are out, missed Wigan away last week for the first time in years because it was on a Thursday night, Saints away and Hudds at home were the same...
Here's to less next year, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Not having SKY TV, I have to rely on 'other' means of watching the live games and only seem to see the 'big' games. When do Sky broadcast the Championship games?

I thought it was refreshing to have a Saturday afternoon game the other day.

No work, lie in, a few beers, out for something to eat, no worries about work the next day, so stayed out afterwards.

Perfect time of day and perfect day.


Although, I must say, when we aren't playing on the Thursday I do enjoy going home to watch a game. I just can't always make it out of work in time to physically get to games (I don't work or live in Warrington).

Cliche alert...... You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time.

Do not see anyone on here cheering how the fixtures suit them, its life just deal with it.

According to a lengthy thread on here last Ocrober, getting from Warrington to Old Trafford on a Saturday afternoon makes the Oregan trail look like a stroll through Sankey Valley!

My point exactly.

I like Thursday, friday, saturday and sunday games. Not keen on Wednesday afternoon or Tuesday morning
