leulei looked as tho he intended wiping Matt Russell out however Matt was dropping as he tried to recover the spilled ball.
He did look as though he could've regathered the ball until the said challenge/tackle which to me was after he'd lost it so should've gone down as an off the ball challenge

Let's just get this straight. Those of you saying that there was nothing illegal with the incident are wrong. The laws of the game state that any contact by the shoulder with the head is a red card. They further state that the tackling player has a duty of care to the player he is tackling. Straight red.

Imo Matty had little to no chance of recovering the ball, it was heading to a body Knock on on LL. Matty forfeited his own safety by attempting too re gather.
His body was not braced for a tackle, and may have took the hit something like a blind spot road traffic accident.?
