Where does buying out two years of a player's contract fit in on the salary cap. Which season would that money count against on the cap?

I don't think it would, although I could be wrong, I would expect it to be classed as a transfer fee. I would think that only his annual salary plus bonuses to be taken in to account for salary cap calculation.

I can't cope with all these rumours, counter-rumours and speculation. It's like being in an episode of Eastenders (not that I'd know, Corrie man myself).

It was much easier in the old days. If it wasn't on the back page of the guardian and reported by Mike Parsons, it probably wasn't true. If you wanted 100% endorsement you'd just corner a player in any town centre pub, pint in hand, drunkenly prod them in the chest and demand to know who we were signing/when they'd be fit/the design of next years kit etc. before asking them to autograph a beer mat.

I dunno, they're just rumours, there's very little fact involved usually.

Haven't we got a deal sorted with Bradford for the highly promising John Bateman??.... This one has been rumbling on for ages, though I read on here a while back that we are nailed on to sign him soon....
