You perceive Castleford as a big club? Castleford with as you say a population of 39000 who operate out of a dump called the Mend A Hose Stadium, who are haemorrhaging players at an alarming rate and who without selling players in advance would possibly be no longer with us!
I'm afraid that you can dress it up which ever way you want to and analyse anything you like but these are not the actions of a big club

Cas have signed Junior Moors and Ben Roberts for next season among others, they may not be household names over here, but are good players and would walk into most SL clubs, Roberts was the understudy to Cronk at the Storm and when called upon had rave reviews some calling for fulltime starting sport.
