I did not cast doubt on Offiah's abilities in attack but questioned your assertion as to his defensive qualities and I still do.
His tackling technique was non existent and, in his Widnes days, Wigan used to constantly attack his wing which not only tired out the guys having to cover for him but also ensured he went into hiding in attack as well as defence. In his Wigan days he had world class players playing in the fittest team in the league to cover for him.
Having said all that I think I would probably pick him ahead of the players being discussed on this thread.
Sally although I'm not going to disagree much with you, you forget he probably had the greatest defensive fullback I'veever known behind him, never uunderestimate the power of that behind you.

Ormsby. He's OK. Still raw, but ok. He has a good try scoring record, but he's no superstar.
Riley. He's been with the matchday XVII for 8 or so seasons. Again, a good record, but still get's the basics wrong, regularly (over-running his centre, poor defence).
Joel's also getting no younger.
Should we be looking at getting 2 new wingers, any time, soon?
