| Both Hull clubs are investing soundly off the field, and appear now to have their infrastructure and management structures in place off the field but the pair of them really need to go out and find a top-class coach from somewhere irrespective of the cost.
The game can sustain two vibrant Hull clubs, and certainly needs at least one to seize the nettle and start rampaging through the corridors of the elite again, but neither will do it without a proven, savvy, experienced coach to guide their aspirations and investment.
Hull, in particular, seem to be making some noise in the transfer market (not sure Pryce's work ethic is quite what they need though) [iagain[/i, but they won't make significant progress with the current coaching setup.

| Hull FC always remind me of us a few years ago under Cullen. Looks a decent team on paper, capable of a few good performances but also just as capable of being beat by the bottom teams.

| I must be in the minority on Pryce then. For me, he is an undoubtedly talented player who lacks the desire and tenacity to inflict the damage his talent threatens.
In short, he's a lazy sod.

+1. Plays when he wants to and as he gets older those occasions are getting less frequent.

| Quote: rubber duckie "I think Pryce gives much presence at halfback even if his style is somewhat unorthodox. You just need somebody very creative next to him.
If anything though it shows to me that Hull are after a quick fix, not laying a foundation with young twenty something player.'"
Pryce is there to mentor Rankin and Snyed.

Snyed, is that the new Arab half back I've heard such good things about?
