That's a bit odd given that my email was from the RFL.

| I think the cat's definitely out the bag on that one.
Safe to say we're at St Helens, should be a good Wire following for that one, really get behind the lads.
Leeds having more supporters should hopefully bring a decent wedge of fans
All good fun, no doubt they'll be crying seeing as St Helens in a small town in Warrington.

| I wonder if the RFL look at the earlier rounds and take into consideration that one of the two teams may have been on the road more than the other throughout the competition, and readdress the balance?
most probably not, but it would be nice to think they would.

| Had a feeling that it would be at Langtree Park. As a couple of posters have already mentioned, it fits the profile of not being a football ground, not being Huddersfield or Salford, and not being the home ground of Warrington or Leeds.
It was the only legitimate choice, what with Leigh having less capacity than Langtree. I can see more than 12,000 attending.
A mate of mine in work said it wouldn't be and he wouldn't want to play there, but I did make him aware that we are still unbeaten there.

| For somewhere so close, St Helens is a right pain to get to by public transport!

| Well it couldn't have been held any closer to us so let's make the most of it.
We can sell it out.

Can't see 18,000 tickets being sold. I reckon 11-12 thousand.

| From the RFL website:
Quote Leeds and Warrington will meet at Langtree Park, St Helens in a repeat of the 2012 final on =#FF0000Saturday August 9 (2.30pm) before Widnes and Castleford meet at Leigh Sports Village on =#FF0000Sunday August 9 (3.00pm) to determine which of them ends a 20-year wait for a return to Wembley.'"
Jeez, they can't even get that right!

| Utterly ridiculous decision to play it at a venue in a town right on Warrington's doorstep. It gives Wire a huge advantage already playing it at the home of one of your local rivals.
Where's the fairness to the Yorkshire side, the bigger club?
St Helens is less than 10 miles away from Warrington, yet Leeds, who have a bigger fanbase, have to travel much further.
