That's what most journals do these days isn't it? With the amount of media available to us all these days, we probably find out as much information about things as we need before ever referencing a newspaper or n'paper journal on their blogs etc.

If you ask me, Dabe Hadfield is the only 'true' national journalist for rugby league in this country. The rest just reword press releases. Mike Rylande does a great job in France, I must say.

Mike Lathem was also good some years back now.
Phil Kinsella is also very knowledgeable.

I agree regarding Phil Kinsella although I question his love of the Pies.

Mike is like a rugby league encyclopaedia, he was a huge help when I spent some time researching a former Leigh player a couple of months ago.

He is a Pie but he plays his RL with a straight bat. Fair play. I couldn't.
