Id love to sign him but until something official has been announced i'm not going to get my hopes up. I feel this is Monaghans last year, especially after all the recent reports about his welfare, but id feel Micky Higham may have another good year left in him and Dwyer had recently signed a new contract already leaving us with two hookers next year. Could mean either we rotate the three or one of Clarke or Dwyer spends a lot of time on loan/dual reg next year.

I hope the rumours re Clark are true as he has the makings of a world class player but wasn't Bateman a nailed on certainty to be signing for Wire according to the pundits.

As a Leeds fan I remember Tom Briscoe being pretty much nailed on to sign for us since around early May of last year, yet it wasn't announced until Hull were knocked out of the playoffs in September.

That there was potential for a Wire vs Cas CC Final then he was never going to be announced before, and realistically you'll probably have to wait until Castleford's playoff run has ended just in case the two teams could meet then.

I suppose that in true Rubber Duckie style you're going to say you knew there was an announcement coming, but it wasn't the Clark signing. fact is that there's some kind of press release in the early part of most weeks.
