Indeed. I have no problem with Eddie & Stevo, very passionate and knowledgeable. Some of the complaining about them is hilarious, not to mention ridiculous

They're fine and if you want to contrast knowledge of and ability to play the game versus ability to describe what you are seeing in such a manner see Jiffy Davies.

Lovely fella, absolute genius on the pitch, but as far as commentary goes he's as dull as a stag do in Workington.

Stevo and Cummings were obsessed with finding fault and foul play in everything we did on Sunday. Eddie did his 'it is Saints, after all' pitch as they started to make a comeback and my fist almost went through the screen.

They are rubbish commentators, listen to a few others such as Ray French getting on a bit now but he knows who the players are, Eddie and Stevo spend most the time slagging the official anything but stating who has got the ball, who is tackling him, before I go any further on this matter listen to a few of the NRL commentary's, really are top notch, Eddie and Stevo must drive quite a few possible new supporters away from our sport with their constant drivel.

totally agree...im sure it was bridge who took a tap and his boot hardly made contact with the ball..rightly they were quick to make comment along with cummings..but when sts kicked off nearly all there players were in front of the kicker,youve guessed it nowt said..there are more but id be on here all night typing it out

I absolutely love them and have so much respect for the pair. They definitely made it much easier for me to get into the sport and people will miss them when they are gone.

I think some people need to T R Y to lighten up a little.

The pair of them really come across as clowns & i don't think Stevo would be out of place commenting on the hideous sport of American wrestling. I suppose they are trying in their own way to inject some humour in the commentary. We should at least be thankful that we haven't got to listen to the sleep inducing British football commentatorzzzzzz.

It shouldn't be beyond the ability of the techies via the red button to just let us hear the noise of the spectators blanking out the inane drivel of the commentators.

Dont like the sound of that, the atmosphere at most grounds is rubbish now!

The London/ Cats commentary was a joke ....Cullen & Kear did ok but the ref's volume was so loud it all sounded like a gang of schoolkids all trying to talk at once.
