Not a Wire fan, but glad to be in the Warrington end. The atmosphere was fantastic and a credit to your club. Took my daughter, and she loved the atmosphere and the nature of it, like most other clubs fans who joined in.
Talking about the rugby, what a performance especially in the first half. Hardly any penalties or mistakes, and you gave Saints no possession and more importantly territory.

I was sat near the players tunnel and actually you weren't that loud - when you are in the middle of something you might have thought it was great, but really it was a bit lame. That French chant just came across as a drone. Something slightly annoying. Of course if you were having a good time then good for you. But chanting the same thing monotonously/endlessly and thinking that creates a 'tremendous' atmosphere and has any effect whatsoever on the performance of your team makes you seriously deluded.
You won because Saints didn't compete - simple as that. |
