Correct. And referring to them as JCLs is offensive and self serving. A fan is a fan whether they attend every game home and away or merely shout for their team from the comfort of their living room. Its all about which team you want to win above any other. Sadly there will always be the "I'm a better fan than you!" brigade which is enough to put anyone off attending even an occasional match!

Probably due to the performance today making me slightly ticked off and touchy, but I too take offence at the 'JCL' comment. As a lad in the 70's I went religiously to Wilderspool for every game, and due to various reasons I didn't get to a game for good few years in the 90's and beyond. However. I still spent a my money at the club shop, paid each week for the past 25 years to Cashline and followed the club through various other media. I started going going back to games about 5 years ago which coincided with my kids leaving home etc; etc: Does this make me a JCL?

Well, I did have...but it came off when I took the car through the car wash. BUT, I am going to get a new one, honest.
