| O'brien didn't get passed the ball to do any kicking & when the ball did go over to him...bridge kicked it. Smith is turning into this seasons Nathan Brown with some of his decisions. Warrington aren't a team this year, there's a lot of olayers looking to stake their claim on being the next warrington legend. On a positive note, I thought Westwood was fantastic.

| joel got rinsed by the young wigan winger on numerous occasions last night. he has no pace and last night as well as coming up with poor defensive reads he showed very little desire to track back and chasse down the winger that had beaten him so easily. he was very Rhys Williams like.

| I'm going to back off predicting Joel in the FTS stakes that'll get his form back no prob's.
Regarding this kick to the corner malarkie, it's a bit old hat isn't it? I think we've over relied upon it, especially as our kicking game has generally been woeful and last night Monaghan was up against Burgess and Thornley hardly candidates for the next Hobbit movie
Let's try something else like moving the ball and creating a gap

| But you did kick to Joel's wing.
Trouble was it was so far ahead of play that Monaghan hadn't a chance of getting there and often either Burgess or Thornley would catch it unopposed.
It seemed to me that from the off Wigan's better kicking game put your lads back to gather on their own 20 or even 10 mtr line. That meant the whole team had to work very hard to get to the half way line. Your kick on the last so often went straight into the hands of a Wigan player who was standing waiting for the ball to land in his lap.
First things first is that TS has to sort out the kickers and get them practicing.
A top class kicking game and last night's defence should improve matters somewhat. TS can't continue with Ratchford at full back with Myler and GOB as halves. Ratchford was a bigger threat to us at stand off and Russell was a bigger attacking threat than any of your other backs.
Your squad has been ageing and TS has not bought top class quality for two years.
Two or three injuries and you've no quality on the bench. Russell has only played around 12 first grade games, Laithwaite & Riley are nowhere near SL standard yet.
This season is as much about TS as about your players.
It will be interesting to see how you guys go.
