I suppose similar to the dominant Saints team as they lost their key senior players it has taken them a few years to rebuild into what seems like they may once again be contenders. I would hope it doesn't take the Wire that long.'"
Top 4 or 5 with a chance of trophies???????
Have you watched any Warrington games this season?
Wire and Hull will finish mid table.
Wire are currently a team of old players, a lot of whom are past their prime, and inexperienced kids.
They don't seem to have a captain on the pitch, have poor decision making at half back, and are probably the slowest set of backs in the competition.
What they did in the past is irrelevant this season.
All they can do this year is bed in the kids, and work out a way of playing with the half backs they have, instead of trying to play the Briers way.
In answer to your final point it has taken Saints several years, and ultimately the decision to acquire a top drawer half back, to get back to the top, after trying to transition through youth.
There is nothing at the moment to suggest that Warrington have a shortcut.
