| Quote: Winslade's Offload "Quote: Winslade's Offload "Incidentally the U16s lost to Leeds 34-24 last Saturday over at Stanningley, looked like Leeds would run away with it at one point but the team stuck in there and closed the gap as the game progressed. However, Warrington elected to rest their four England players as they had been away all week on a training camp whilst Leeds played all their five representative players so the end result may have been different. All told a good performance anyway as Leeds are always very strong at this age group, it will be an interesting match next time out against Wigan at Wilderspool.'"
Yes, I saw that result but was waiting for the match report to see the team. That is a good performance if the England players were out - I think Reece Brunt played though ?
I was looking through the stats on the current U16 squad and it looks as though from the 37 players in 2013 we have released 18, retained 12 for this year and promoted 7 to the U19's. That is quite a rate of attrition, but also pretty normal for a squad at that age.'"
Reece Brunt is not an England player it is George Moore, Charlie Phythian, Dan Norman and Jack Fox (all from Latchford). They had them away training with the Parachute Regiment in Colchester and they came back in various states of disrepair, mind one of the Leeds playing contingent said he was injured whilst in the England camp and then played on Saturday...
I would expect the U16s to be very competitive this season if they can get everyone on the pitch at the same time.

| Yes, I was the body guard. It's what I do. I save lives. If I hadn't given him some fluid intake at half time he would probably have passed away by now.
I like the Stags ground and their new stand, it's a great facility. I hope they do well in the future - they have obviously got some hard working supporters down there.
I thought the score flattered Wire a little as London fluffed some good opportunities. Declan Patton's kicking game was good, but I would still like to see him owning the game - he has got the skills to kick teams to death. Sam Wilde seems tireless, he worked really hard last week and put in another big shift this week. Nice to see him get the reward of a couple of good breaks. I thought positioning under the high ball was a bit hit and miss, and too many balls were allowed to bounce, but they seem to be gelling quite well - sterner tests to come though, although not perhaps next week.

| There was something you don't see very often in this game, I forget who dropped out but he hit it so hard and far that London had to drop out and lost their advantage.
