| According to the Guardian, its looking likely that Ratch will start at stand-off. I'm assuming that is based on how they are set up in training. If thats the case, where does that leave O'Brien? He was a big part of what was right in the Widnes game, ie his kicking game was giving us the field position we needed. That to me is his advantage over anyone else in the team. In other aspects he fits in as a cog in the machine, able but not as organising or creative as Myler or Ratch. Weighing it all up, he would make stand-off in my team for his kicking game. I'm really interested to see how all of this is going to fit together this year. Especially as Tony seems to be going down the Myler, Ratch combo. Expect a lot of kicking from dummy-half I would guess.

| That's why I put O'Brien in. We can play a different style with Hodgson and Briers gone, sure, but you still need a great kicking game. It's why Wigan did better than expected last year- Smith exceeded all expectations. When Hull beat us, it was Holdsworth's kicking game. Dobson for Hull KR. I really rate Ratchford and Myler but I think it leaves us too weak in the kicking game. Unless we are going to run every time (which could be fun).

| If Ratchford's ankles are up to playing i would imagine O'Brien will be first choice scrum half for London Broncos this year ,probably on a monthly basis.
